摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Michelson interferometer capable of exactly measuring with a simple constitution without light loss and forming a whole body thin, lightweight and inexpensive in production cost. SOLUTION: A Michelson interferometer 1 is constituted of a light incidence means 2, a first prism column A1, a second prism column B1, a light detection means 14 (13), a beam splitter 8, and a conversion means 5 (12) for converting diffused light to parallel light and parallel light to diffused light. The first prism column A1 has a light incidence plane 4, a conversion means 5, a first plane 7 and a second plane 6 provided side by side of the beam splitter 8. The second prism column B1 has a third plane 9 and a fourth plane 10 formed in the position facing the beam splitter 8 and a reflection curve 12 as a conversion means. The first prism column A1 and the second prism column B1 are constituted so as to arrange the first plane and the third plane side by side freely movably in light path length variation direction.
