PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic surgical apparatus capable of safely and easily coagulation, in a relatively wide range, a biological tissue, being applicable in the care of stopping bleeding from a stump after hepatectomy or the like. SOLUTION: A concave ultrasonic wave radiation section 10 is formed at the tip of an ultrasonic probe 7, the tip of a sheath 9 covering the ultrasonic probe 7 is extended forward of the ultrasonic wave emission section 10, and an ultrasonic treatment space holding means 12 for holding an ultrasonic treatment space S between the ultrasonic wave radiator section 10 of the ultrasonic probe 7 and a biological tissue H of an object to be treated at a fixed set space is provided.
