FILTER MATERIAL, FILTER APPARATUS AND PRODUCTION OF FILTER MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter material reduced in the variation of treatment capacity, to facilitate the estimation of treatment capacity at a time of planning and to miniaturize a filter apparatus. SOLUTION: A particulate material having various particle sizes is sieved at every mesh sizes on the basis of the mesh sizes prescribed in JIS to obtain a filter material wherein particulate materials sieved by at least three kinds of mesh sizes among sieved particulate materials are respectively mixed by 15-25 wt.% and a filter bed is formed from this filter material to constitute a filter apparatus.
