PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom unit wherein for any one of the aged, toddlers, handicapped people and healthy people, the usability is favorable even when the bathroom unit is equipped with a seating section in a bathtub, and also, a bathing feeling is not spoiled because a tight and uncomfortable posture is not required even when a bather tries to sink in the hot water of the bathtub up to his shoulder, and in addition, the bathing feeling is not spoiled because the inside of the bathtub does not become smaller even in the presence of the seating section. SOLUTION: In this bathroom unit equipped with a bathtub 3 comprising shorter edges and longer edges and a floor pan 6, the bathtub 3 is made to overhang to the washing space of the floor pan 6, and a seating section 4 is provided in the water tank section of the bathtub 3 on the longer edge side and on the washing space side of the floor pan 6. Therefore, since the bathtub 3 is made to overhang to the washing space of the floor pan 6, even when the seating section 4 is provided on the longer edge side of the bathtub, the inside of the bathtub does not become smaller, and a bathing under a tight and uncomfortable posture can be prevented from occurring.
