摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for improving durability around a disc rotor groove of a bridge part even in the thinned state of the bridge part in an integrated caliper body effective in reducing weight by using an aluminum alloy casting as the material of the caliper body instead of an iron casting. SOLUTION: In a disc brake, a caliper body 1 connected by a bridge part striding a rotating disc rotor is supported to a nonrotating part of a vehicle body and provided with opposed cylinders 2, 3 integrally formed with the bridge part, and friction pads 13a, 13b are pressed to both side faces of the disc rotor by hydraulic pressure supplied to the cylinders 2, 3. In this case, a round cut- outpost is provided at the inner corner of a disk rotor groove of the bridge part striding the disk rotor, at a part not exceeding the maximum inner diameter to the bridge part, along the outer periphery of the disc rotor in the pressing action force line direction of pistons 2, 3.</p>
