PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic unit of which operability is improved, which is constituted into multiple functions and whose availability is improved by arranging loudspeakers in a first housing and a second housing so that sound is emitted from the sides facing the outside in a state such that the housing are folded into two and are closed. SOLUTION: A first housing 32 and a housing 34 are folded into two, are closed and are made into a compact state. Either the first housing 32 emitting the sound of a left channel or the second housing 34 emitting the sound of a right channel is turned to a listener and therefore sound can concentrically be listened to in the loudspeaker 38 by being separated from the sound of the other channel. Even if an acoustic unit body 30 is folded into two, is closed and made in a compact state, respective switches 44, 46, 48, 50 and 53 are exposed to an outer part. Thus, a desired operation is executed without opening the first housing 32 and the second housing 34 so that operability is improved.
