PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive signal other than a voice signal at necessary timing from a voice speech path such as a selection signal transmission available tone, a call signal tone, and a speech tone by a private branch of exchange at a caller side in a system where an inter-network selection signal is transmitted by using the voice speech path. SOLUTION: Upon receipt of a selection signal from a caller side private branch of exchange by a trunk circuit of conducting inter-network interface (reception), the trunk circuit and the received selection signal retrieve a connection digit number registered in a selection pattern memory (step 1). Then the trunk circuit to transmit the inter-network interface is acquired (step 2) and a selection signal is transmitted to the trunk circuit (step 3). Then matching discrimination between a transmission digit number (x) of the selection signal and a connection digit number X indexed in the step 1 is made (step 4), and when they are coincident, a voice exchange switch connects a trunk circuit conducting inter-network interface (reception) to a trunk circuit conducting inter-network interface (transmission).
