PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sending-out mechanism which can be shortened in horizontal length. SOLUTION: This coin sending-out mechanism 30 has a feed roller 31 which rotates in the sending-out direction of a coin C, a return roller 32 which is arranged opposite the roller 31 and rotates to return the coin C, and a gap S1 which is formed between the peripheral surfaces of the rollers 31 and 32 and is large enough to pass only one coin C, and passes coins C, one by one, between both the rollers 31 and 32 through the gap S1 through the rotation of the feed roller 31. The feed roller 31 is so provided as to send coins C out in a specific sending-out direction including the gravity drop directional component of the coins C. Consequently, the need for a mechanism for forcibly drawing in and sending out the coins to the coin sending-out mechanism is eliminated. The drawing-in mechanism, therefore, need not be arranged to the upstream side of the coin sending-out mechanism in parallel in the horizontal direction and the horizontal length of the coin sending-out mechanism can be shortened.
