PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize on-demand fixation where toner blister is not caused even in the case of using a thermal fixing device for an image using toner including wax as a heating device. SOLUTION: This heating device 100 is provided with a heating member 10 and a pressure member 30 forming a nip part N while press-contacting with each other, and constituted so that a member to be heated P is held and carried so as to be heated in the nip part N. In such a case, the pressuring force by the nip part N is made to be offset to a downstream side in the carrying direction of the member to be heated with respect to a normal Y passing the width center Nc of the nip part N.
