PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain highly reliable diagnostic data by preventing fine refuse or dust from adhering to an optical system or penetrating in a light path in a fluorescence measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: In a fluorescence measuring apparatus, exciting light Le is emitted from an exciting light source 10 to irradiate a sample 100 from the end part So of the leading end optical fiber 60 connected to an optical B-fiber 40 by an optical fiber connector 50 through an optical A-fiber 20 and a light separation unit 300 and the re-emitted light Sh such as fluorescence or Raman light generated from the sample 100 by the irradiation with the exciting light Le is again allowed to be incident on the leading end optical fiber 60 from the end part So thereof and guided to the spectroscopic photometer 80 connected to the end part Co of an optical C-fiber 70 through the leading end optical fiber 60, the optical B-fiber 40 and the light separation unit 300 to be measured by the spectroscopic photometer 80. The light separation unit 300 is housed in a hermetically sealed container 200 and earthed along with the optical fiber connector 50.
