摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of performance caused by wear and seizure generated during the high rotation of a hydrodynamic pressure bearing. SOLUTION: A bearing part 3 of this hydrodynamic pressure bearing is provided with two grooves for generating dynamic pressure. As the material of the bearing part 3, brass or an aluminum alloy is used to improve machinability of the grooves for generating dynamic pressure. A DLC film 6 formed of amorphous carbon is formed as a protective film on the inner peripheral surface 5 of the bearing part 3. Seizure is not thereby generated to the inner surface of the bearing part 3 between a rotating shaft and the bearing part 3 of the hydrodynamic pressure bearing, and the accuracy of film thickness can be maintained for a long period of time.
