PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a display method which makes it possible to easily grasp which bar code is recognized at a glance when a recognition result is displayed. SOLUTION: The bar code recognition device displays an image of a document and also emphasizes and displays the part of a bar code area where pattern recognition was done successfully in the document. In the display image 4, an image 46 of the document is displayed. In this image, the circumference of the recognized bar code 38 is emphasized by being surrounded with a frame line 50. In this image, there is no frame line at the periphery of a bar code 49 which was not recognized and the bar code is not emphasized. Thus, which bar code was recognized and which bar code is not recognized can be grasped at a glance. Then the recognized bar code is contrasted with the contents of the data of the recognition result to evaluate whether or not the recognition result is correct. |
