摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize quantum information communication processing by using an external degree of freedom relating to the propagation path of a single photon, propagated in an optical interferometer having a plurality of optical paths in place of an internal degree of freedom with respect to 4 internal states of a polarization correlated photon-pair. SOLUTION: An input port of a 1st optical circuit 2 receives photons generated from a single photon generating means 1, a 1st control means 3 controls an input output transmission characteristic of the 1st optical circuit 2 to encode a signal and each output port of the 1st optical circuit 2 transmits the coded output photons through an optical transmission means 6, without imparting time difference. An input port of a 2nd optical circuit 4 receives a photon outputted from each output port of the 1st optical circuit 2 transmitted through the light transmission means 6, a 2nd control means 5 controls an input output transmission characteristic of the 2nd optical circuit 4 to decode the coded signal and a photon detection means 7 detects the decoded photon outputted from the output port of the 2nd optical circuit 4. |
