The invention relates to a safety resilient coupling used for connecting and transferring the mechanical energy from a driving machine to a driven one, in the machine building industry. According to the invention, the resilient coupling with discrete radial non-metallic resilient elements comprises an armature (4) with spacers (8), on which a cover (5) is fastened by means of some screws (6 and 7), the removal of said cover enabling access with a view to replacing some resilient elements (3) fastened on the cover by means of clamping bolts (9), where the resilient elements (3) are made of elastomers and are provided with some metallic self-lubricating master bushings (15) split along the generatrix, for taking over the loading during the operation. The resilient element (3) is provided with three cuttings (16) having the longitudinal axes parallel to the longitudinal axis of the resilient element (3), so that the middle cutting is larger than the others, and alongside the characteristics of the material of the resilient element (3), determines a deformation characteristic thereof depending on the elongation imposed by the use of the coupling, and consequently, dynamic properties of the coupling imposed by the installation parameters and the operation conditions.
