The invention relates to a device for profiling abrasive wheels on a plane grinding machine with vertical axis, machining prism-like surfaces. According to the invention, the device comprises a horizontal V-shaped housing (1) with the apex of the letter oriented towards a plane grinding machine with vertical axis and a base (t) fixed onto the machine and as well as two guiding plates with balls (2 and 3) some slides (5 and 6) with diamonds (7, 8) thereupon gliding alternatively, along said plates, the slides being driven by pushing a button forming, in its turn, one piece with a drum (11) with a ribbon-like belt (12) fixed thereunto by means of some screws (13), the slides (5 and 6) being linked to some rods (15 and 19) with some springs (14 and 16) fastened thereunto.
