The invention relates to a wheel chair that is provided with spring-loaded wheels (3). The wheel chair consists of two laterally reversed side frames (1). One steerable swiveled wheel (2) of a small diameter and one non-steerable wheel or drive wheel (3) or a wheel with motor (4) of a large diameter are fixed to the respective side frames. The wheel chair further comprises cross struts which are known per se and which link the side frames (1) either fixedly or foldably. The spring system of the inventive wheel chair is a spring joint (19) with a spring element (21) that rests on the wheel or drive wheel or the structural unit, the joint axis (20) being excentrically located with respect to he wheel axis (9). |
