PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an error on a rule. CONSTITUTION:The editor is constituted by providing a graphic data storage means for storing existing graphic data, a data input means 7 for inputting layout data of a wiring in accordance with a graphic of the existing graphic data, a temporary storage means 2 for storing temporarily the layout data of the wiring inputted newly, a rule data output means for outputting rule data in which a reference rule for verifying the layout data of the wiring is stored, a layout verifying means 5 for verifying through the reference rule the consistency of the layout data of the wiring stored in the temporary storage means 2 and the existing graphic data, and a data integrating means 6 for integrating the layout of the wiring stored in the temporary storage means 2 into the existing graphic data in accordance with a result of verification. |
