PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a high precise polishing regardless of the number of workpieces by inserting the workpieces to the guide parts of a workpiece guide body arranged above a polishing disc, and arranging a weight member so as to independently add a prescribed vertical load to each workpiece. SOLUTION: A weight member 24 is arranged on a workpiece guide body 17 vertically movable along a guide pin 23 by inserting a pair of guide pins 23 of the workpiece guide body 17 to a pair of corresponding guide holes 25 of the weight member 24. The dimension of a slit 26 is set to a size such that the major diameter flange part of a ferrule 100 cannot be inserted, but the other part thereof can be inserted. In the mounting of the ferrule 100 that is the workpiece, the minor diameter part on the rear side from the major diameter part is inserted to the slit 26 of the weight member 24, and the guide pins 23 are inserted to the guide holes 25, whereby the ferrule tip part is inserted to the cylindrical part of a ferrule guide 21. |
