A motor vehicle control system and/or security system such as an access control and/or anti-theft and/or anti robbery system, designed to receive a DTMF (dual-tone multi frequency) coded control signals, which may serve as PIN (Personal Identification Number) of an authorized user, or as operational codes of the system. The signal reception device of the system may be hidden to enhance security level, by requiring pre-knowledge by a potential thief of its existence and location. The disclosed system enables integration of any DTMF compatible communication device as a code entry device for the security system without requiring any modifications of the device. |
