PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for channel-assigning of code division duplexing is provided to perform possibly dual communication for a private radio communication and an ISM(Industry Scientific Medical) by assigning a forward channel and a backward channel. CONSTITUTION: A channel-assigning apparatus is formed with a base station(100), a terminal(102), and a forward and a backward communication channel. The base station(100) is composed of the first circulator(104), the first modulator(108), and the first demodulator(108). The terminal(102) is formed with the second circulator(106), the second modulator(110), and the second demodulator(114). Single codes of N number are assigned to a channel. A part of codes of N number is selected for designating a forward communication channel. The other part of codes of N number is selected for designating a backward communication channel.
