PURPOSE: A method is provided to improve the rate of fair quality of a color filter by setting the diameter of a laser beam to the circular region to be corrected which includes a defective part, removing the circular region to be corrected, dropping a correction ink on the circular region to be corrected, curing and shrinking the ink. CONSTITUTION: The diameter of the laser beam is set to the circular region M to be corrected to remove the circular region M. The state such that the circular region M to be corrected including a defective part in a green pattern layer G is removed by the laser light. Then a correction ink G' is dropped on the upper face of the circular region M to be corrected by using an ink injection device. As for the correction ink G', a thermosetting region or UV-curing resin is used, and the correction ink G' is dropped in a spherical bulging state on the upper face of the circular region to be corrected. Then the correction ink G' is cured and shrunk by an ink curing device. Thereby, the correction ink G' is shrunk and the circular region M to be corrected can be filled and corrected into almost the same level as the surrounding region.
