PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the trouble and time required for slack handling by very simply re-arranging an optical fiber cable from the U-turn state to a straight state. SOLUTION: This closure has a cylindrical sleeve 10 provided to be divided into upper and lower half parts, and in the sleeve 10, a pair of fitting base plates 18a, 18b are disposed. These fitting base plates 18a, 18b have the respective opposite end parts connected to each other through a metal connector 22 to be expanded and contracted, and further metal fixtures 19a, 19b for fixing a tension member f2 of an optical fiber cable (f) are provided on the respective fitting base plates 18a, 18b.
