PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a more effective initiation time interval by executing simulations by using oscillatory waves generated in an actual site of construction. SOLUTION: In this method, a plurality of charge holes 31, 32,... and 41, 42,... are provided in a breaking object surface 1 of a cutting face and a slot 2 is formed in the lateral part of each charge hole in the breaking object surface 1. A space (b) between the charge holes in the line nearest to the slot 2 is set to be a prescribed distance, while a distance (d) between the charge holes is also set to be a prescribed one. The conditions of provision of the charge holes are made approximate, according to this constitution, and explosives charged in the charge holes beforehand are initiated tentatively. Oscillatory waves thus generated are recorded and by simulations based on the oscillatory waves, a initiation time interval for minimizing the vibration energy of the oscillatory waves becomes is determined.
