PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form forgery preventing paper without taking a lot of trouble. SOLUTION: A metal is vapor-deposited on a transfer substrate 6 to obtain a metal vapor-deposited transfer sheet 5, an adhesive 8 is applied to the metal vapor-deposited layer 7 of the transfer sheet 5 in a pattern having the shape of a forgery preventing mark and the transfer sheet 5 is stuck to the information writing face side of a paper body 2 by way of the adhesive 8. The adhesive 8 is cured, the transfer sheet 5 is peeled and the metal vapor-deposited layer 7a is transferred to the paper body 2 in a pattern having the shape of the forgery preventing mark.
