PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent underrun of data due to communication delay from being generated and to improve decline in communication efficiency due to retrying or the like by independently monitoring an image expansion processing time of printing data, detecting it at an early stage when a processing time is prolonged and switching a facsimile transmission control line. SOLUTION: When facsimile transmission is performed from a host 1 to a called device 8, an image expansion part 3 image-exchanges printing data of a memory 2 and expands them to an image buffer 4. A facsimile communication control part 6 cuts out image data for one line from the image buffer 4, stores them in an empty line buffer 5, compresses the data and transmits them if possible. A time monitoring part 9 monitors the number of line buffers 5 which are queued, interrupts control by a current line at the time of detecting delay in expansion processing, transits the control to other line and continues transmission control. Thus, decline in control efficiency can be protected. |
