PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient an evaluation work for a transmission line at the spot by workers by displaying in units of files a table of various kinds of data measured continuously. SOLUTION: At least one of a pulse width, a wavelength and a distance range of optical pulses inputted to an optical fiber to be measured is changed to continuously measure the optical fiber in various ways. Among measured results obtained from the continuous measurement, measured data of maximum values by absolute values are extracted for a splice loss, a return loss and a unit length loss, and measured data are extracted for a total loss and a total return loss, which are formed in one file and displayed in a table form on a display screen of a display part 19 as a table screen 19b for every one measurement.
