PURPOSE: A transmission case is provided to reduce the overall length of a transmission keeping the formation of transmission having merely one piece of countershaft while reducing a weight without impairing the function of a bearing formation. CONSTITUTION: This transmission case for transmission of a car has transmission shafts(4,5) installed on rolling bearings(10,11,12,13) which are connected to the transmission cases(2,3) and accepted by bearing covers or end plates(6,7) having a single layer or a double layer of thin plate press parts having bearing seats for rolling bearings, passage opening for transmission shaft, and seal ring supports of the transmission shafts, and is formed so that the thin plate press parts are manufactured as a precise deeply drawn parts, and a sleeve-shaped bush(16) and peg-shaped cup(17) directly forming an outside and inside working surfaces for needle bearings or roller bearings(12,13) are installed on the thin plate press parts.
