PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having high image quality with a restrained color shift by preventing external magnetic field through side surfaces for a cathode-ray tube having a tension mask. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display panel 10 having a phosphor screen, a electron beam emitting mean 13 emitting an electron beam 14 toward the display panel 10, a color selection electrode 20 having small holes through which the electron beam passes, a frame supporting the color selection electrode 20 while applying a tensile force to the color selection electrode 20, and an inner magnetic shield 12 shielding the electron beam from magnetism. Frame side magnetic shields 30 are installed on the sides of the frame to shield magnetism.
