METHOD FOR OPERATING MOBILE DEVICE, THE MOBILE DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DATA STORAGE MODULE

PURPOSE: A method for operating a mobile device is provided to allow a mobile terminal to selectively validate, continue or invalidate a kind of application when the mobile terminal moves between networks of different types. CONSTITUTION: The mobile device(10) includes a controller(18) that is coupled with radio transceivers(14, 16) for 2-way communication with any of a plurality of different networks. A data storage module(28) is connected to the controller(18) in a readable form and this module(28) stores information to specify at least an ID and an operating capability of a module in each network. The controller(18) replies a request received from one network through a transceiver to access the module(28) to retrieve the information and to transmit the retrieved information to the network being a request source through the transceiver.
