PURPOSE: A method for enhancing the absorption of a pharmacologically active amine which comprises providing a pharmaceutically effective does of the amine, and an effective does of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent together in a liquid medium to provide enhanced bioabsorption of the amine. CONSTITUTION: The liquid composition for improving absorbent activity of pharmaceutical acceptable amines in human blood comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable amines in a pharmacologically effective administering amount (a primary to tertiary amine, e.g. pseudoephedorine) and an effective amount of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (selected from a propionic acid derivative, an acetic acid derivative, a fenamic acid derivative and a biphenylcarboxylic acid derivative, and as a preferable compound, ibuprofen, ketoprofen and naproxene are cited) as a stable liquid form. The preferable administering amount is 40-800 mg for every 4-6 hr in the case of ibuprofen, and preferable administering amount of the amine is 15-60 mg for every 4-6 hr. |
