PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce costs, time and defective fractions, etc., associated with the production of a positive electrode plate and maximize the production efficiency by producing the plate through a series of automated processes comprising units of a positive electrode plate feeding, an active material removal, a tab feeding, a temporary welding, a cutting, a final welding, a calender rolling and a blanking press. SOLUTION: A positive electrode plate feeding unit 3 sucks a positive electrode plate 7 from a magazine 5 layering and mounting the positive electrode plates 7 and is transferred by an under shuttle. An active material removal unit 13 removes an active material from a corner part of the positive electrode plate 7 by an ultrasonic cleaner 11. A tab feeding unit 19 supplies tab strips. A temporary welding unit 25 temporarily welds the end of the tab strips. A cutting unit 23 cuts the temporarily welded tab strips to form a rectangular tab. A final welding unit 27 finally welds the tab. A calender rolling unit 28 rolls out the positive electrode plate 7. A press unit 31 punches out the positive electrode plate 7. |
