PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease of battery characteristic caused by a gas generated in electrode plate groups and an insufficient supplying of electrolyte to an electrode plate. SOLUTION: A positive electrode combined paste is coated and dried on both surfaces of an aluminum foil having a thickness of 0.02 nm, i.e., a positive electrode current-collecting body and the current-collecting body is rolled to a predetermined thickness. A convex portion is continuously formed in parallel to a width direction of a roller and the electrode plate is penetrated between convex portion-forming rollers in which the convex portions are intermittently formed at a space of 5 mm in a rotation direction of the roller. Grooves 10 are formed at a space of 5 mm and at an angle of 90 deg. against a longitudinal direction of the electrode plate.
