<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system which can easily recognize the locations of respective pieces of data and read them out according to need by providing a terminal device equipped with a display means which discriminatingly displaying symbols representing stored data and data which are sent by a communication means and not stored in a storage means. SOLUTION: An electronic pocketbook 15 having received a storage end report from an image management server 13 writes a flag indicating the completion of storage to the image management server 13 and deletes the corresponding image data file in its internal image recording part. Then a discriminating display is made by using another color indicating that the image data file is stored not in the electronic pocketbook 15, but on the side of the image management server 13 and a message indicating that data obtained by picking up an image are transmitted to the image management server 13 and stored in displayed in a pop-up window in a picture. Consequently, the user of the electronic pocketbook 15 is able to recognize where a file of desirable image data is stored at a glance.</p> |
