PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery check device which enables battery capacity to be used efficiently by setting the locking level of a battery with high accuracy and to provide an adjusting device thereof. SOLUTION: This battery check device of a camera is provided, for example, a power source 11 supplying power to circuits in the camera, an actual loading means 14 of an actuator or the like which is controlled by circuits in the camera and are driven with the power from the power source 11, similarly a virtual loading means 13 which is variably controlled by the circuits in the camera and is driven with the power from the power source 11, a virtual load varying means 12 performing a setting so that a current value (Id) of the virtual loading means 13 becomes substantially equal to a consumption current (It) of the actuator or the like and to a storage means 15 for storing the setting value of the virtual load varying means 12.
