PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct balance with easy operation without exchanging a balancer in accordance with the size of a plate wound round a drum. SOLUTION: This image recorder is equipped with the balancers 308 and 309 attached rotatably centering the center shaft of the drum whose outer peripheral surface the plate whose surface is coated with sensitive material is wound round so that its one end may be positioned at a fixed attaching position and balancing when a reference plate of specified size is wound round the drum, and a balance correction means balancing when the plate of size other than the specified size is attached to the drum by changing the positions of the balancers 308 and 309 on a rotational circumference in accordance with the change of the length in a winding direction when the plate of the size other than the specified size is wound round the drum.
