PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic flash device capable of sufficiently dealing with a case, where the viewing angle of a photographing lens is widened. SOLUTION: This electronic flash device 30 is provided with a recessed reflection surface which reflects right emitted from a light emission tube 31 and side-part reflection surface parts 34, arranged at both side parts of the recessed reflection surface. Then, an angle formed by the reflection surfaces 34 with respect to the tube 31 is set, so that the light emitted from the tube 31 is reflected in a direction of going away to the side parts of the tube 31 in front of the tube 31. Thus, the electronic flash device 30 capable of sufficiently dealing with a case, where the viewing angle of the photographing lens is widened, is obtained.
