摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively measure a numerical value wherein a higher correlation between food and palatability is expected as the hardness of food. SOLUTION: A gauge head 10 is moved downward by a movable mechanism 5 to apply downward pressure to a cup 7 through the bean jam fully charged in the cup 7. This pressure is applied to a measuring stand 4 as downward pressure to downward move the measuring stand 4 against the energizing fore of support mechanisms (6a, 6b). The max. moving distance at this time is measured as the hardness of the bean jam. The movable mechanism 5 downward moves the gauge head 10 at a slow speed at first and at a high speed subsequently.
