PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a whole water testing device compact and lightweight by providing a wiper to be longitudinally slid inside a water testing tube body to introduce water for water tests from a water tank to the water testing tube body and a wiper to be slid in the other direction to discharge the water for water tests from inside the water testing tube body. SOLUTION: This device comprises a water quality testing means 1, water testing tube body 2, wiper 4, control device, etc. The water quality testing means 1 to use a CCD camera is opposed to the water testing tube body 2 at an appropriate interval inside a housing 5 to detect the residual concentration of water for water tests introduced to a test region H in the water testing tube body 2. In the case of testing the water quality of water for water tests in a water tank 3, the motor of a moving means is rotated in one direction to slide the wiper 4 through a rod 6 from an introduction starting location to an introduction completing location at the upper end of the water testing tube body 2. As the inside pressure of the water testing tube body 2 on its lower end side becomes negative with the sliding of the wiper 4 to generate a force to suck the water for water tests, it is possible to introduce the water for water tests in the water tank 3 to the test region H in the water testing tube body 2.
