ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having high resolution and good cleanability. SOLUTION: This toner has a DB value of <=0.95 which expresses the ruggedness of the toner particles and <=6.5μm volume average particle diameter measured by the Coulter method. The DB value is represented by (DB value)=[(volume average particle diameter by the Coulter method)/(volume average particle diameter by laser diffraction)]. The toner is preferably produced by emulsion polymerization or soap-free emulsion polymerization.
