<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a motor by a refrigerant which flows in a refrigerant passage, by forming the refrigerant passage in the wall surfaces of casings for housing the motor. SOLUTION: A stator 9 of a motor is fitted to the internal surfaces of casings 2. Recesses 21, 23 are formed along the peripheral side of the stator 9 respectively in the wall surfaces 20, 22 of the casings 2 divided into two along the peripheral side of the stator 9, and made into partitioned separate arcuate passages 30, 31 respectively by joining both divided wall surfaces 20, 22 with a partition plate 25 therebetween. Both arcuate passages 30, 31, connected by a connecting hole formed in the end part of the partition plate 25, constitute a single refrigerant passage, in which a refrigerant flows and returns along the peripheral side.</p> |
