<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electric charge missing and toner from slow mixing by constituting the toner with a mixture of a resin, a coloring agent and a surfacing additive consisting of two kinds of coated silica and coated metal oxide. SOLUTION: The toner is composed of the mixture of the resin, the coloring agent and the surfacing additive consisting of coated metal oxide and at least, two kinds of coated silica. The first coated silica has preferably, for example, about 25 nanometers primary particle size and about 225 - about 400 nanometers aggregated size and the second coated silica has preferably, for example, about 5 - about 25 nanometers primary particle size and about 225 - about 400 nanometers aggregated size. The ratio of the coated metal oxide versus the second coated silica is about 20:80-98:2, preferably about 65:35 - about 95:5, most preferably about 95:5-85:15. As the coloring agent, a pigment, a dyestuff, their mixture, a mixture of dyestuff and the like of the amount equivalent to preferably about 2 - about 10 wt.% are exemplified.</p> |
