PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor, capable of expanding a region of interest, only in a specified direction by stopping the expansion on the basis of an inputted and set control area, even when an object point satisfies expansion conditions. SOLUTION: As shown in figure, an image prepared by an area expanding method without a stopper. While using the image prepared by the area expanding method without stopper, a stopper position is designated ((a) in a figure (b)). The area expansion in the stopper part is performed, and a control area as a stopper is set. The area expansion of a part limited by the stopper set like this is performed. Therefore, as shown in a figure (c), the concerned area, where the expansion is stopped by the stopper (a), is extracted. Thus, the control area for stopping expansion/extraction is inputted and set in advance so as to cause expansion to stop on the basis of the inputted and set control area, even when the object point satisfies the expansion conditions. |
