PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a mouse as a telephone while using a computer by providing a number and DTMF interface which generates a DTMF signal in an off-hook state with the input from a key input part and generates a number input signal in an on-hook state from the number signal from the key input part and a telephone circuit part which processes the signals of the DTMF interface. SOLUTION: A hook switch 130 is a switch for generating the off-hook state and when this switch 130 is operated, a telephone function operates. In this off-hook state, a number that a user inputs through the key input part 116 is converted by the interface 118 into the DTMF signal, which is inputted to PSTN. A telephone call can be made corresponding to inputted dual tones. When a telephone call arrives, it can be received by pressing the hook switch 130. The telephone circuit part 120 processes the DTMF signal and controls a speaker 126 and a microphone 128.
