<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry toner hardly causing fogging under high humidity and less in fluctuation of image density by making a polycarbonate resin containing halogen atoms in the molecular structure exist on the surface of each toner particle. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin containing halogen atoms in the molecular structure is made to exist continuously or discontinuously on the surface of each toner particle containing a binder resin, a coloring agent and a wax component. This polycarbonate resin to be used is any known polycarbonate, which contains halogen atoms in the molecular structure and is obtained by reacting bivalent phenol at least partially substituted with halogen atoms with a carbonate precursor by a solution method or a melting method, or copolymerized polycarbonate obtained by reacting bivalent phenol at least partially substituted with halogen atoms, bivalent phenol containing no halogen atoms and a carbonate precursor by the solution method or the melting method.</p> |
