PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin material for a heat sink as well as a combination structure using it wherein a sufficient combination is provided at with precision of extrusion molding, a sure combination is provided with the total heat- exchange area of the fin material being large while the heat transfer coefficient between a base member and the fin material is good, and a combination struc ture body is easily provided by forcedly inserting the fin material into the base member. SOLUTION: A fin material 2 which is slightly taller than the cross-section of a base member 1 and whose cross-section profile comprises a curve or polygonal line is forcedly inserted into an insert groove of the box-like base member 1 for engagement with the fin material, so that an oxide on both engagement surfaces of the base member 1 and the fin material 2 is removed for combination between metal surface.
