PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch requiring a reduced space for processing optical fibers and faciliting mounting and removing of the optical fibers. SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch is structured so that an optical fiber 471 for light projection to lead the light from a projecting means to the sensing range and an optical fiber 472 for light reception to lead the light from the sensing range to a receiving means are drawn into an optical fiber draw-in hole provided aslant over a body case 41, and therefore, mounting and removal of the optical fibers and their processing can be made without influencing the view of display LED's 43 arranged on the body switch oversurface and the operation of a sensitivity adjusting shaft 44 and changeover switch 45 also arranged on the body switch oversurface.
