PURPOSE: A device for storing interactive video programming is provided to seamlessly switch display of a first video signal into display of a second video signal by a viewer. CONSTITUTION: Video signals, together with a data code used for seamless switching, are stored on an optical disk so that the video signals read from the disk or a video signal read from the disk and a video signal received from other generating source can seamlessly be switched. Also, a time gap is generated in each of video signals, and each time gap denotes a switching time that is used for a time for seamless switching from the video signal to the other video signal. Accordingly, when the first signal stored in the optical disk is displayed, if the second video signal stored in the optical disk is selected, the device displays the second video signal with seamlessly switching operation.
