PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inverter for an automobile, realizing reductions in size and cost while suppressing increase in switching noise and power loss. SOLUTION: A pair of inverter circuits 9, 23 are respectively mounted on separate circuit boards 100, 101. A smoothing capacitor 3 is provided in the first circuit 9 of a large load side, and the second circuit 23 of a small load side receives not directly from a battery 1 but rather via interval power source lines 12, 13 of the board 100 of the circuit 9 side. Thus, the capacitor 3 conducts smoothing operation in the inverter 23 to eliminate switching noise from the influence of a current change of the circuit 23 through intermittent operation of the switching element of the circuit 23 or decreasing the increase in the current change of an on-vehicle battery 1. |
