<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording and reproducing device with integrated camera capable of surely and easily recording an image in a state desired by a user. SOLUTION: In the photographing mode of a recording and reproducing device 100, encoding means 107, 108 and 109 encode an original image. A recording means 115 records the encoded image provided by the encoding means on a recording medium. At the same time, decoding means 110 and 111 decode the encoded image provided by the encoding means. A display means 122 displays the decoded image provided by the decoding means. Thus, the degradation of picture quality caused by compressing processing can be confirmed at the time of recording.</p> |
