<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for transferring image with which the image of a resolution corresponding to the empty capacity of a transfer destination storage means is transferred among images hierarchically structured with plural resolutions. SOLUTION: In this image transfer method, when transferring images hierarchically structured with plural resolutions and stored in a device (hard disk) 100 of a terminal 100 through a network 115 to a device (hard disk) 111 of a terminal 101, an application 102 detects the empty capacity of the hard disk 111, selects the resolution of an image to be transferred corresponding to the detected empty capacity and transfers the image data of the selected resolution through the network 115.</p> |
